Claims Reporting
If you have a claim with Encompass, Grange, Hartford, Progressive or Travelers, please call the company to report the claim. These companies prefer direct reporting.
If you have a claim with any other company, contact us first.
We are in business to pay legitimate claims. We are here to guide you through the claims process.
Here's what you need to do in the event of a claim:
- Contact us or the company (see above) to report the claim as soon as possible. Please note that you are required by law to report all workers compensation claims within 24 hours.
- Take measures to prevent further damage (for example, put a tarp over a hole in your roof).
- If you are in an auto accident, do not admit fault and call the police. Make sure you get the insurance and contact information from anyone involved in the accident and contact information from any witnesses.
- Don't try to settle a claim on your own. This can void your insurance contract and remove a company's obligation to pay claims on your behalf.
